great base for exploring forest and nearby parks

The breakfast was a real treat with delicious cinnamon rolls, and the hotel's proximity to the beautiful bienville national forest made our morning hikes easily accessible. it was a wonderful stay that truly felt like a home away from home.

The entire hotel had a musty smell that was unpleasant!!! The outdoor pool felt unsafe without proper access control, and the lack of an additional elevator made it inconvenient when trying to navigate the floors.

The personalized service from the staff made our family feel welcome, especially when they recommended local restaurants for dinner. The complimentary breakfast, featuring bacon day, was an unexpected highlight that delighted everyone.

We had a fantastic time staying with friends! The hotel was super clean and comfy. The staff were friendly, and we loved grabbing those cookies upon arrival. We enjoyed visiting Roosevelt State Park and Gaddis Park, where we played tennis, fished, and even tried miniature golf. Definitely a great spot for a fun getaway.
